Definitely A Porn Day

So I’ll be honest. I’m feeling real lazy today and don’t really feel like writing a whole bunch of stuff, ripping people and calling people out. So, I figured we could all just take this time to sit back, relax and watch some erotic video’s that might just make all the fellas watching go from six to midnight. Ladies don’t be discouraged to flick the bean to this as well.

See the rest of you assholes in the playoffs.

Brady Offered A Contract

Boston Herald.comPatriots quarterback Tom Brady [stats] has been offered a three-year extension believed to be worth $58 million that works out to $19.3 million annually, according to sources close to the negotiation. This would be in addition to the $6.5 million dollars he’s on the books for this year.

The Herald has been reporting that there is a contract in place for Tom Brady, I think the deal isn’t as good as what Brady deserves, but hey, if the deal is singed Brady will still be around for another three years.

More Favre Coverage

Is anyone really shocked that Favre missed the beginning of training camp and is now finally coming to play. He did his annual bullshit run around with his high school buddies everyday before mom called them all in for dinner when the sun went down.

Now that he is well conditioned from all those practices of throwing footballs in his cut-off tee and Wrangler jeans, Favre is ready for the NFL…again.

The NFL, along with all other leagues should have a rule that if a player is retired and does not come out of retirement/join the team for beginning of camp then they should not be aloud to play, at all. I’m so sick of every year, Favre retiring and un-retiring when he feels ready to show up for camp…rediculous.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Closing in on the 24-hour mark until the MLB trade deadline and NFL training camps underway, this is by far the most exciting time of the year. Every sports website is filled with the latest MLB rumors along with all the NFL predictions for the upcoming season.

Baseball has already had its share of big moves, the biggest so far being Roy Oswalt moving to Philadelphia. This begs the question will the Phillies (2.5 GB of Atlanta) be in the mist of making yet a third World Series run in as many years? The Phillies are slowly truing into the Yankees of the National League. If they make the playoffs, sure they have just as good a shot as the other three teams but this season could be different. The top two teams in each division all still are in a fight for the division and the wild card race is even tighter.

The White Sox are making moves at the deadline like they do every year. Last year the made the acquisition of Alex Rios (off waviers) and now this season they are on the verge of trading Edwin Jackson according to multiple sources.

With the trade deadline around 3 p.m EST tomorrow there will probably be many deals that are sent to the commissioners office around that time.

Now for the NFL, in what could be the final season before a potential lockout, it is still as exciting as every other season. But like every training camp there are always big stories and rumors around each team. This season there is the contract discussions of Brady, Manning, Brees and other players. Terrell Owens was finally signed by a team (Cincinnati) and the Ravens might have just lost all hope at a AFC North division title with a recent injury to starting cornerback Domonique Foxworth.

Bodden Staying?

Leigh Bodden, Patriots CB

It is being reported today on ESPNBoston.com that Leigh Bodden has an agreement to stay with the Patriots next season. In 15 games Bodden had 17 passes defended and was tied for the team lead with 5 interceptions.

It looks like someone has finally woke up Bob Kraft. Singing Wilfork, Neil, Banta-Cain, and possibly Bodden all in a week. It is exciting to see but in an uncapped year it would be nice to see the Pats try to throw some money at other big name free agents but major household needs are always important, you can’t buy the outdoor furniture before you build the deck. Well, you could, but you would have to use a patio, but patio’s suck i.e. San Diego Chargers. They have a lot of flashy things but you still look around and feel like something is missing

This does remind me a lot of the 2006 off-season, the season before the very forgettable 18-1 season. The Patriots spent a lot of money signing guys in-house; Richard Seymour and others.

NFL Week 1: Bengals v. Guards

There have been reports floating around that the Cincinnati Bengals had Adam Pacman Jones work-out with the team this week. Along with Jones there are rumors the Bengals may also be interested in WR Matt Jones.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME????

Is the NFL trying to just fuck with everybody. It is bot going to take long before the Bengals are going to be an all inmate team. Over the past few seasons the Bengals saw a list of ex-criminal players come through the team locker room.
