This is something NBC should be doing even Sunday. Football is over, March Madness hasn’t started yet, there is nothing on TV. Why not pump the NHL as much as you can. Boost your ratings, if hockey is on all day people will watch it who usually don’t watch hockey.
The B’s will be the marquee match-up today as they are in Minnesota to take on the Wild. The game will pose and interesting challenge for the B’s. Minnesota got off to a hot start this season going 20-7-3, in their first thirty games. The team has fallen off since then and they are currently on a seven game slide, going 0-5-2 over that period.
Boston is not playing the best hockey either. The team has not won back-to-back games in over a month. Both teams will be fighting for points.
I think the B’s should put Tuukka back between the pipes. Give him an opportunity to redeem himself after his past two poor showings. And overall the team needs to score goals, be physical and play their game.
