Lady Ellsbury, 0 for 5 in return

Jacoby Ellsbury on the daily

Apparently the Major Leagues is just too much for Jacoby Ellsbury, who played in just his tenth game of the season last night against the 9-1 spanking the Indians gave Boston at Fenway Park.

Ellsbury went 0 for 5 in the game, this just a day after going 3 for 5 in Pawtucket with 2 RBI. Ellsbury said he could not play in the game on Monday night, same day Mike Cameron is put on the DL, because he was still feeling pain in his ribs, when he swings the bat. So as a result the Sox had to recall Daniel Nava to Ellsbury could have another rehab start. Many people have been questioning the toughness of Ellsbury since it has taken his 16 weeks to recover from broken ribs.

In order for this kid to stay in Boston he is going to really have to dazzle people in the field and at the plate for the rest of the season. If you ask me he won’t be in the starting line-up come opening day next season.
